THE CHALLENGE

Set up a complex story with a wild supernatural twist, while featuring the large ensemble cast. The series was still in production, so we had to work from raw footage and scripts.

MY STRATEGY

I used a simple 3-act structure to guide the viewer through the second season’s strange departure in plot and tone.  The way the music progresses matches the story: reflective minimal piano, then dark atmospherics, and finally wild punk rock.  I think the “on-the-nose” lyrics of the punk song work really well in this case.
