THE CHALLENGE

This film had already been released theatrically in Japan along with marketing trailers.  Those trailers focused on the film’s more esoteric/idiosyncratic qualities.

MY STRATEGY

We decided that our trailer should focus on the film’s more traditional fantasy/adventure qualities, and tell the story as clearly as possible.  For music, I was able to repurpose several pieces from the film’s original score.
