THE CHALLENGE

Capture the tone / mood of the film, focusing on the mermaid myth.

MY STRATEGY

I utilized voice-over narration from the two main characters to set up their back-story as quickly as possible in order to showcase the unique visuals of running and jumping through the environment in the second half of the teaser.  Then, I ended with an ominous and intriguing moment.
